That link to the other shifter shows it's only $30.00 I guess thats just the handle? The Tri ax comes with the base plate as well. I need that to complete it correct?

OK just pulled the trigger, again Joe at CJ Pony was a great guy to deal with. He's got a couple pony himself. I went on and ordered a leather Cobra repl ball with the aluminum dial to go with it. It was on the side of the order page and for some reason looked like it kept looking at me. So what the hell got it as well. May or may not like it. Anyway, will see it probably in a week or less.
I had and B&M shifter in my 89.. It was alright, def better than the stock shifter in my 80. But I think ill try out the MGW in this car since I hear so many good things about it.
When we bought my wife's 96 Cobra I didn't realize it, but it had a B&M in it. It felt so sloppy that I thought it was original. The difference between that and the Tri-Ax I replaced it with was amazing.
Ok I got the part on Saturday. Installed it that evening, and WOW...... what a difference I was missing!!. Thanks for the recommendation. I have had three standard shifts and never replaced the shifter. What an ease to shift now.
