hey guys,

What do you think are the best side skirt and bumper letter decals. I bought some of of latemodelrestoration. I just put them on and they did not fit well and are already starting to peal off. I have had them on for less then a month. What have you guys had luck with? Please share your opinions as to which once fit the best and stayed on the longest.

Thanks in advance!

But those from LMR should stick well if you prepped first

They were put on right before I picked my car up from the body/paint shop. so I would think they were prepped. Is there anything special that needs to be done?

Thanks

Nope, you need to prep the area to removce any wax, grease, contaminents, 3m make a prep solvent, sometime you can use some alcohol on a shop towel. Didn't the decals come with instructions?

I've used Bob White decals before with success.

I've used the LMR decals a few times and never had a problem. I clean with rubbing alcohol first. Then I wet the area with a soapy water solution and massage the decal into perfect position while the area is wet.
Hard to do if you try to apply them dry.
