Best Sounding Exhaust System

Well the sound I love is the deep sound like the older muscle cars have. I dont like the ferrari sound that much. My brother had a 99 Roush that he just got rid off a couple of months ago and boy that thing sounded quite sick. So I am looking for a sound similar to that if you guys have heard a roush. I was thinking about the Stinger Borla Catback but im not sure yet.

I have a vert too, kb'd, anyway, I had an 03 cobra with magnaflow catted x and magnaflow catback and it sounded good but I wanted it a little deeper on this car- went with a mac catted h and magnaflow catback - sound is perfect for a vert, mean at wot, but not too harsh for top down driving.........

i had an american thunder catback with my mac o/r x and it sounded rip-your-throat-out mean. i now have magnaflows and i hate them so much its unhealthy. they sound like s*** compared to the flows. i would even take the drone back i hate these magnaflows so much! bottom line: o/r prochamber or o/r x with flows=endless compliments and a wicked sounding ride.:flag:

:stupid: (Mac O/R Prochamber w/ Flowmaster 40's) And I cant count the number of times people have stopped me at gas stations/drive through/bank...asking what exhaust set-up I had. I found the "old fashioned" muscle car people favor it the most. I wouldnt trade the sound for anything...just my .02
i got the bbk o/r h-pipe with 40 series, and get compliments at least twice a week

What mid pipe is better for performance an H or X. I heard that an X is better. I want the deeper muscle tone that you guys say the H makes but also some power upgrade. I don't want an X if it sounds ferrari like.

My friend and I have GTs with 2 chamber Flows. He has an X and I have an H. His sounds friggin' evil and satanic, but could get overbearing after a while. Definitely have a hard time hearing yourself think.

I have Spintech mufflers and they give a great muscle car sound. Only problem is that they don't make a catback but the mufflers welded in to the stock pipes still sounds great.
