the only thing with spintechs, is that with a h-pipe they sound kind of wacked.. with a spintech it sounds better going x-pipe then anything else.. yes a spintech pro street will sound nice on your 5.0L but on an h-pipe it sounds a little strange

The first mod I did on my car (besides the K&N filter) was to put flowmaster 2 chamber on my stock 93 GT. I wanted the loud sound that most Mustangs had around the base. Boy was I disappointed, so I thought I needed headers. Got the BBK 1 5/8 and matching h-pipe. Still sounded the same. I was so disappointed again. Then I saw Summit had a race only muffer (1 chambers) for $59 dollars so I picked up two. No one would install them b/c they were not street legal. So I knew that there was an Import performance place and I figured they do shady things over there. Well they installed my 1 chambers w/dumps. Wow what a world of difference! That is the sound I was going for (Stock motor w/ BBK long tube headers h-pipe and 1 chambers. Now that I have a supercharged 347 stroker it is loud as hell!!! I get kind of antsy though around cops Hope this link works to the Summit site. I have the One chambers with 3 inch inlet and outlet. The muffers are now 72 bucks. http://store.summitracing.com/defau...sults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp&x=35&y=5 View attachment 510001

Go with 1 Chambers

I have ford racing headers, a dr. gas o/r x pipe and bassani catback and I love it. I sounds different than all of the stangs where I live. I decided on this combo after hearing the video of project tang here on stangnet. I've gotten nothing but compliments.

Im running Mac 1 3/4in longtubes with a 2 1/2in Mac Prochamber and a 2 1/2in Mac Flowpath catback. When im spraying and it spins thru first and second people say that my car sounds like a street bike

I like Mac the best out of all that ive heard and had on my car. The one chambers are way too loud with my combo and they dont sound nearly as good as the Mac's...plus I think one chambers really only sound good when you have a worked motor (cam, higher compression, and so on)

Dynomax Ultra-Flo. Go watch the movie Bullit.....that will give you a good idea as to the sound.

Whats the rest of your setup like? If those give a bullit sound then Im sold.
Im also considering moroso spiral flows. They are supposed to be pretty mean outside but fairly quiet inside.

FRPP ceramic shorties, hi-flow catted H-pipe, Ultra-Flo cat-back. Pretty subtle at idle, but screams at WOT.

that sounds inticing. Do you think the round mufflers would sound the same as the ovals?
