We are gonna pull the plugs on it since we are installing headers. Car still has the original M/craft from the factory in it now. Runs great. I figured since we were pulling them out we minus well install new ones.
Should I just keep the original Motorcrafts in it, or do you recommend siomething different.
Need some quick replys on this plzz folks.

Autolite 25's or stock copper motorcrafts are the best plug to use for N/A (0.054" gap)

Platnium is crap on the 5.0...stay away from them

No sir.....take those bastards out and throw them in the trash...trust me on this one. Go to FORD and get some stock Motorcrafts, gap them properly and be happy. Otherwise Autolite 25s are good and i end up using those more often than not because the guy at the Ford dealership pisses me off, but if you can, use the Ford stock replacements.

Same here on the Autolite 25s at .054, Mustangs usually dont seem to like exotic expensive spark plugs!

Motorcrafts gapped to .050 here on my 93 Cobra, no need for the expensive crap.

I replaced my Autolites because the car kept missing and had no power over 5K RPM. They wore out FAST!!!

I replaced them with Motorcraft replacements. Car runs PERFECT, I can squak the tires in 2nd gear now because I can shift at redline with no drop off in power. I am a firm believer on OEM parts.

We didn't end up pulling them out, but I do believe I will go back with the O.E. plugs.

FYI, the Motorcraft replacements are the exact same plug as the comparable Autolites.

Wow, that's some big ass gap.

What sort of ignition do you use to toss a spark over a 1/2" gap?? A FLux Capacitor?

They are the same part.

Autolite makes motorcraft plugs for Ford, and then just tosses them in a Motorcraft box and labels them as such.

Autolite 25's for the stock heads. Good plugs and cheap.
