Best suspension combo

I'm looking into some extensive suspension work. What do you guys think would be the best combo for my 88GT. It's everyday driven but sees some 1/4 track time. I was thinking about baseline suspensions control arms with some maximum motorsport subframes and the rest x2c motorsports. What would your idea be of the best combo. I'm looking to spend around or under 3500-4000 for everything so throw your ideas at me.
