Best TB and MAF combo for a stock 302?

Hi guys, I'm looking at installing my Tubular GT40 intake on my car soon. The only mods are exhaust and a cold air intake. (Its basically stock) I was wanting to upgrade the the Mass Air Flow Meter and Throttle body to get the most of my intake. What size combo do you guys recommend? p.s, I plan on using the stock injectors for now.

Thanks in advance!

you shouldnt have to adjust your tps. If it was in good working condition before it should work on your new TB. Larger tb's adjust for larger air ratios via the linkage. I run a 75mm TB on a gt40 intake with a stock TPS. No adjustment was necessary.

It would mean that you need to adjust your TPS voltage to around .98 Volts. Thats with key on and engine not running.
ARGGG!!!!!!!!!
WTF are people STILL getting this BS RICER CR*P from?

From: Print Page - Setting the TPS

Bottom line....
Any tps setting between .6 to 1.1v is acceptable. (numbers vary slightly depending on who you ask, but if you aren't throwing a tps code, then you'reok)
There is no performance gain from adjusting the tps voltage between.99999v to 1.00000v

A voltage of 4.6 to 4.8v is not required to reach WOT...
WOT/OL is triggered when the TPS voltage is 2.7v above the base/idle voltage.

For some real tech on the TPS check these...

As to the OP and MAFs:

To use a 70mm 94/95 Mustang GT MAF on a Fox Mustang 5.0 (except a 93 Cobra), use an adapter:
Ford MAF Adapters - Air Filters - Kurtz Kustomz Motorsports, Inc. KKM

For all practical purposes, it's the same curve as the Fox GT curve. But, with "no/minimal" restriction up to ~350 RWHP, and with more accurate sensing.

To see the Fox MAF, LMAF (requires a chip), and 94/95 MAFs, see below:

I've gone over the advantages and trade-offs of the different MAF designs many times before.

Basically you want the TB and MAF to be as big as possible, within reason. At WOT, you just want them out of the airflow's way. I've found that a 70mm TB will mate up to a GT40 style intake opening without much (if any) port matching. For MAF, I'm a fan of the ABACO units. Look at an 85mm or 97mm ABACO. You can get them calibrated for the 19lb injectors, and they come with tuning software so you can change your injectors in the future.
