Best way to get rid of a sunroof?

I have a sunroof, and I am sick of it. At least I think I am. The paint on my roof is popping off and I believe it is the work of a ****ty sunroof.

So, what is the best way to get rid of the sunroof? By this I mean, looks the best without spending enough that I need to harvest a kidney.

Sell the car.

I can't imagine that trying to graft something in there would render anything that looked good at all. And expensive to boot.

Sell it.

The only way to do it right is to cut the roof off and put a new one on off a donor car. If you try to weld a piece in, it will warp the whole roof badly and will require a ton of filler and man hours to get straight.

Call the dealer and buy a roof skin they are really cheap and you will have to weld it in. Don't forget you will have to pull all of the glass out of the car to do it. Don't forget a headliner also. Or you could sell the car as said previously.

Have you considered buying a new sunroof?

There are some really nice products out there these days! Personally I love the air--and removable tops are the best.
