Best Way to lift engine

Just wondering what is the best way to lift the engine. Have it almost ready to come out. Right now it is just the block and aluminum heads on it. I've lifted many by cast heads but never by aluminum. I'm afraid something could break. Any suggestions?

My question is can I lift it from the two bottom holes of the aluminumheads. 2 on the front 2 on the back.

It wont break we made a bracket to go across the stock lower and it pulled out fine. My cars always had that little eye bracket to lift the motor out I'm not sure if thats on all of the 302s.

i always have used a bolt going into the front and rear of the cylinder heads going through the link of a chain.

worked great for my, i did it on alum heads and worked fine.

Yep, long time back when I removed the stock headers for the BBK's I kept the 2 eye hooks for when that special day came. I just removed the headers and bolted the eye hooks back on the heads and just used some chain.
