Best way to remove brake dust from chrome wheel...

Title says it all. I just took of my chrome wheels for the winter and i want to clean them up really good while they're off the car. Any tips would be appreciated. thanks !!

Elbow grease
I used Dawn dish soap (just on the wheels because it cleans all the grim off plus the wax. Otherwise don't use Dish soap on anything else)
Then if there is any tar on the inside then use some tar remover.
Then use Mothers to polish them up.

Elbow grease $free
Dawn dish soap (one squirt) $0.03



I try to stay away from chemicals that hurt the enviroment.

NO chemicals on CHROME!!!

Soap and water only, with a sponge.

You can use the orange cleaning type stuff, but that's it, and it works well.

I just use the soap in the bucket, dry it, and wipe with paper towel and Windex.
