Wondering whats the best/safest size to run those down the track. I have some old 7" V6 wheels but I think those will make me out of control the whole way, cause they're too small. Would an 8" rim be ok/safe ? or should I go bigger ?

Thanks

15x 8 would be way better but I guess 15x7 would work......Are you buying them new? If so I suggest the 26x8-15.

No I already have the slicks. Paid 100$ for the pair last year. Are used but many many passes remaining on them. The "wearholes" are still very deep. I only bought them because it was a good deal. So now it's the rims I gotta buy. Propably end up getting the 8". Thanks

My opinion...mimimum 8.5" rim for the 10" slick.

I thought alot of ppl on here were running 26x10.5-15's on 7" wide 10 holes with good results. Maybe I am just mistaken... I would like to get this cleared up I may be purchasing some slicks in the near future..

The 26x10.5-15 ET STREET is only 8.3in wide. Shouldnt be a problem for some 10holes.
The 26x10-15 ET DRAG are 9.6in wide. Thats why I was questionning a 7in wheel. Now with the 8.5in wheels, I should be ok,

The difference is because DOT legal tires (et streets) are measured from the sidewalls. Non-DOT legal tires are measured by the tread surface.
