I went to KCIR today and made 3 runs. Unfortunately, my exhaust leak at the manifold to header grew about 3x worse on the way there.
Of course, my 60' times were horrible, and I didn't really spool hard until about 80'out at 3500 rpm. My best run of the day:
60' 2.431
330 6.333
1/8 9.368 @ 81.13 mph
1/4 14.182 @ 102.24

My setup in short:
TB03 turbo (t3 sized) at 20psi
small NPR front mount
ported intake, head and E6
3" exhaust cutout (gained 2mph over the 2.5" muffler same day test)
C4
LB3 computer, brown tops and big vam, all stock computer stuff, with just extra fuel pressure and 12* base timing.
Overall, I'm satisfied. I'm disappointed that the exhaust manifold came lose or I would have owned the 13s at last. Next time I go, I'll have an E6 with threads to hold the turbo tight, and the hybrid running.

This is a short video of a run. This time,I ran 14.6 at 101. 2.5 60' and I touched the rev limited on then 1-2 shift. open exhaust. hehe The other mustang got a very good .038 light to my .433 and he ran a 13.58@ 100.35. looks like I was chasing him down.

very nice, clean looking car there. outta curiousity, do you enjoy the c4? i want to back my 2.3t with a 5.0 t5 just for the fun factor, but i cant decide if a 3800 stall torque converter on a c4 with a mean shift kit would be the better choice....

Thanks,
Yeah, the C4 isn't bad. I don't think it will ever have the same fun factory as a manual, but if you want any kind of repeatability you will have to go C4.
Certainly, a shift kits makes them a lot more fun. Nothing like a nice firm shift and never letting off the gas till the end of the run.

I saw the post on TF and thought it has great potential. What is the car geared?
I could only run about 80mph in the 1/8 with the green car on slicks and no spray.
However....as everybody else has said....the 60' has to go. My dually in 2x4 and leaving at idle in 2 snd with a 6spd, I blew the tires off of it and had a 2.43 60' but ran a 10.4 at 66.

I can't wait to see it all sealed up and running 1.8-1.9 60fts and trap 85mph+....Sounds like its there.

hehe, thanks.
It has 3.73's in the back, and I'll keep them I think. 85mph would be pretty awsome. I don't think it will do that until I start getting more fuel in it though. I'm surely near the limits of the stock injectors, and I don't have a bottle like you do. hehe
I do have everything for water/alky injection still. I can try mostly alky and see if I can run 25+psi and still have descent AF's. Of couse, I should really get the hybrid and seal it up first.

Did you get an F29 convertor or what did you end up with?
well.......I guess 3.73's is enough.......4.10's would be great.
But I only run a 3.55 in the black coupe so I'm no one to talk.
Do you have a wideband yet? If you do, send me a run, as I would like to see what it looks like. I wouldn't worry too much about the injectors. They should hang in there for at least mids 8s.

You've got an easy 8 sec run and probably deep into the 13's next time out.

I've got the F32, which I read somewhere is the newer model number for the F29. Either way, it will stall to about 24-2500 on the foot brake without boost. When I tried a foot brake launch with this tiny turbo when it was sealed up right on the street, and blew the tires off hitting 20psi isntantly, so I just have to seal it up... ie get a manifold with threads for the studs.
I do have a wideband on there. It is only leaning out to about 12.5:1 at 20psi now. Before when I had the hybrid on, it would lean out to 13.5:1 at 18psi. That was kinda bad. hehehe

Yup, I'm in Lawrence.
I actaully don't know where to get a 2.3T motor from. There is occasionally one at the pick-n-pull (previously U wrench it) in KC, but that's all I know of.
