I have tried them out both and seemed to have gained more from the big filter. Have any of you guys compared them. I ask this cause almost everybody has a CAI kit in their car. The K&N went in a 95 vert aode and the CAI went in my 94 5-speed coupe.

If you don't what I'm talking about it's just a huge filter that eliminates all the stock filter housing and just leaves the MAF and the filter stuck to it.

How about a huge K&N filter and a homemade CAI together?

that would be a good idea but i don't know if the K&N will fit in the panel. had already thought of that but would cost me twice as much cause the K&N is the same price as the CAI, unless i go with the e-bay ones for $40. but let see what other people think

then just a slight trimming of the inner fender and a 12" piece of PVC pipe and youve got yourself the best CAI you can get for our cars....
