Hey guys, i have a 1988 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Vert at the moment and i have been toying with the idea of putting a 460 bbf in or keeping my 316....can anyone help me decide which to build?

It all depends on what you want out of your car. there is a swap kit for it so it is not hard. I plan to do the same swap. It just sound cooler

Go with a stroked 351W & have your cubes (up to around 427) with less weight & more room to work.

Just buy a ford 514 longblock and blow 200-300 in N2O.

You will have to decide since it is your car, but check out www.bigblockfox.com for some BB'ed cars. I like how the 460 sits in my engine bay, but it is a heavy mother.

I would say stroke a 351 to 408 then you get the best of both... thats my plan, at least for now anyway
