Should the hd tree row rad be big enough for my motor?

Honestly, the radiator isnt the only thing, you will need a good fan, a high-flow water pump, and the good radiator and cap. It should be big enough, it also depends on where you live and how hot it gets.

My father's car has a combo like yours and he runs the HD three row radiator along with an edelbrock water pump, and an electric fan(not sure what brand/model though). We run a 160* t-stat in the car and the highest temperature I've ever seen it hit was around 180-190* when it was 95-100 degrees outside and we had the ac blasting. The temperatures I stated are from an aftermarket mechanical temperature gauge, the stock gauge in the cluster on his car was horriby inaccurate.

I'm using a 2 core HD rad in the 408 right now. With a 197F stat my temps have been dead consistent at about 205F.

My compression is less than 9:1 though. We'll see what happens when I rebuild to over 11:1. LOL

I say stick with what you have, until you have an issue.
This way you aren't spending money on things you don't really need.

My thoughts,
jason

Nope, got out february of last year. As for the Aluminum Radiator, you can ask anyone on any forum site that has an aluminum radiator, and they love it.
