I was running the Escort without intercooler and seeing Inlet Air temps of 170-180 on a pull and 110-120 on crusie. I had JR at Extreme Turbo Systems build a custom intercooler and piping on my Escort. Very professional assembly and all the tubes are powdercoated, looks sweet! But the best part, I am still running the same amount of boost (no noticable drop!) with no difference in lag (!) and the kicker...the inlet air temps are down to 70-80 degrees on cruise, dropping slighly under full boost! The HOTTEST it got heat soaked was 99! Of course, ambient air temp will effect this as well, but to kill off close to 100 degrees is freakin awesome! Finally got the killer tune (thanks Jeff!) in her and she pulls like a mofo now! So squirly it makes Santas car look like its on rails
