ok. everyone now is swapping to the PI heads. yes I now that give give more power and more compression on a 96-98 motor, but why can't you port the 96-98 heads and get the same performance gains out of them. I have never seen a thread about this. The reason I would like to know is because if I can port my heads and get the same performance gains out of them then why buy a set.

don't forget the pi heads have a more aggressive cam in them too, that counts for some of the extra ponies
