Billet Grill Mystery.....

Wow, that is at the same dealer I bought mine from, same color as mine too. Maybe I'll swing by there on the way home, I know the accessory-sales manager.

EDIT: BZZZZZZZZT! Wrong "Mac Haik Ford" dealership, that one's three hours away and I know nobody who works there :(

Just to warn you, that up close on that billet grill didnt impress me. The buckets and the space around the pony ruin the whole concept of using billet. It looked bad.

I havent seen one billet grill that looks good on a GT (with Fogs) yet. :notnice:

YES GOOD POINT. THE BLOW BY BLOW RACING pictures aren't very good at all. I'll have to ask for CLOSE up pics to decide. It isn't a cheap item if it ruins the look of the GT

Holy smokes but that grill looks ugly... the center section looks all wavey and bowed. I wouldn't but that on my car! I also love the HUGE rims and the tiny, in proportion, disc brakes.. looks goofey as heck!

I think those waves are merely a result of digital photography and simply not there on the finished part.

That being said...this is not what I'd call a billett grill. This seems to me to be a stick on billett-look chrome peice, it might even be chromed plastic. BBBR simply took that route to be the first on the market, there will be true ones to follow. But rest assured, if someone makes a full billett replacement for the entire grill (removing all that nasty black plastic) it aint gonne be cheap, not even close!

The aftermarket business is being a little slow for the '05 if you ask me. It's almost like they weren't convinced these things would sell...LOL!
