Going to work yesterday,came to a light and there was a beautiful black corvette looked like 2004 or 2003.No not a ZO6.I looked over at him and gave him a friendly smile and nice car kinda knod,and he just had a smirk and looked away.At that point I knew it was on!!!!! The light turned green and i just rolled on it threw first and second just enough to stay even with him with out getting wheel spin,I was somewere between 4 and 5000 rpms and I saw his car lift and pull about a fat bumper and i had 2 choices plant the throttle and probably light the tires up or short shift into 3rd,I decided to short shift into 3rd.I left him like he was standing still.When I hit 3rd I had just a little wiggle and just leaped foward and pulled away by 3 or four car lengths all I could hear was my supercharger screaming ,got to about 5 car lengths or so and he got out of it.What a sweet victory.When I Got to my freeway on ramp a car that watched from behind caught up said nice race I cant beleive that stock vette wanted to race a cobra,I simply stated ya me either but im sure he wont anymore
