I know some places used to make them. Anyone know where to buy the "Ford" oval trunk emblems with the black insert instead of blue? I tried making my own and I was almost there when I destroyed the last spare emblem I had. Now I either need to find another blue trunk emblem to take apart or find out who sells black ones.

My old co-worker bought one off ebay (red one), but I haven't seen those for sale there in a while.

Maybe Ford sued them or threatened the producer for copyright infringement?

Says "blue" in the description. Probably an oem part or cheap knock off.

Its ok. The dark blue ones look black in most pics... A few times I thought I found a black on ebay but the sellers all come back and say, "its dark blue, but black would be cool."

Maybe this is just a california thing...but I have yet to see a 99+ mustang in a junkyard that is avaliable for someone to just take any parts off of it. Seems to me like most of them get taken away to the "special" section of the junkyard where you can only tell the guy what part you need and he will get it for you. Usually costs much more as well. I don't know about other places but that seems to be how it is in Cali.

well my junkyard that i work at is like that.. i have to go get it. But if you know what you want and can talk your way through it only on saturdays is when you can get back there. hell i have a 01 convertible and a yellow 02 at the moment.. buncha good parts. Oh and your emblems are the same across the board, ford goes by size not year model. I've looked it up, my dads a parts manager

The one here in Sacramento is the same way. They walk you out to the car & get whatever you need off for you. If its a Cobra or something, they have all the special parts stashed away & charge twice to 3X's as much as GT parts.
