i painted the dash, door panels, trim, adn that little piece of carpet by the 3rd brake light. i got the headliner, sunvisors, and carpet from 50resto for about 200 bucks. i have everything for the interior except seats. i ran outta money lol :D

Would you have to know how much bigger/smaller the fox carpet is compared to 94-98? I've ordered 3 carpets and all of them have been identical to the one in the picture. I know the carpet would need to be trimmed, but the carpet ACC has been sending me as been entirely to big. I'm convinced they've been sending me the wrong year but I don't know how much bigger, if at all, the carpet is.

yeah i dont like my red, those pics make it look easy.. my buddy changed his from red to Gray... i was thinken about a coversion but its still mint condition so i wont touch it till i get some burns in it... LOOKS GREAT THO MAN GOOD JOB~~!

I would trim it, but it would require "remolding" the carpet since the center section is entirely too big. I used a heat gun on the carpet for about 3 hours and had the carpet sit in the blazing heat of a MS summer in the car for 3 days with no improvement and I was tempted just cut the carpet into 4 squares and trim it that way then get it stitched back up. Perhaps I'm too particular and expect too much, but there's no way the carpet I've been sent is going to fit right in my car.

Excess along the outside would be perfectly okay, but that's not the case.

I'll probably end up going some place and paying too much to have new carpet professionally instead and instead of using this premolded junk. I would rather have carpet and mold the **** myself with the luck I've had with the ACC stuff.

ADDED:

I painted my dash black using the dye from 50resto. Pretty good stuff and resistant to constant rubbing as well. I have a few knicks, but that's from installing the dash a couple hours after painting it.

i just used auto interior paint from walmart its rustoleum. im not too particular about using oe colors it matches the rest of the interior well and it turned out good... plus its cheaper
