I too have an accufab 70mm.. It's in a box awaiting install in like 10 years.I hope it doesn't have the dreaded whistle that bbk/others have.
Still amazed at those times. Well done sirI've listed this car on craigslist. I bought the car initially to swap its black interior for the grey one in my other mustang.
Unfortunately, my other car has been in the shop for a year and a half, which made swapping out the interior impossible. I have 4 cars, a jet-ski, and a trailer, and I simply can't get all of that to California when I head there for my Master's degree in June.
It's not a sad story, though. I had an absolute blast getting this car to run a 12.63 best with what I consider to be an exceptional 1.83 60' time on stock-size Goodyear GT all-season tires. I have really enjoyed taking it for a spin every time I missed my old mustang. If the car doesn't sell before I go pick the other one up from Dallas in May, then I may still yet get the interiors swapped. However, I'm going to list it on Craigslist and see if I can reduce the stress on my move in a couple months.
Aaaaaahhhhh! Oh well, good for you brother. Hope the other one is released from purgatory soon.......Sold it. Was a really fun car. I hope the new owner, Mark, enjoys it as much or more than I did.
@Mustang5L5 Can we chat about the best bang-for-buck (not too rich, not too poor) 5-lug & brake setup that isn't a PITA to get my hands on, these days? I anticipate the most expensive part of option 1 would be the 5-lug & brake swap. These days, if this can be done well (Cobra's or better with prop-valve, MC, 3-2, and all accessories), easily (place order... get parts in the mail), & affordably (say ~$3k), then option 1 would be VERY tempting. Then, I figure $5-$6k get's me a 5-lug car, nice brakes, good stance, cleaner interior & exterior, that will be good lookin' and fun for me for a while, and then maybe sell for $15k+ in this market?

I like the F# whistle at idle. It’s not like my car is a Grand Marquis anyway, and I know my IAC is working.I've already got the Accufab 70mm that I couldn't find when I owned it before coming for $150. That will eliminate the whistling sound and it might even flow slightly better.
I'm debating what I want to do with the car.

If you bought the car back, there must be a lot right about it. Choose option #2. Unless there was something specific you did not like, have fun driving it.
