I'm looking at these black FMS valvecovers for my build up. The engine bay is flat black. I think they look pretty nice, I'm just worried about "loosing" them in the engine bay when you look at it. What you think? Yes? No?

I think they are pretty tuff lookin'. I dig'em. If you end up getting them you have to post pictures of what they look like on. I'm thinking about black covers for myself.

+1 to the black valve covers, but perhaps paint the red letters/stripe to match your car' exterior color? Or perhaps the engine color? Just throwin' out some ideas...

The engine is black, with aluminum heads/intake. The headers are ceramic coated as well. The outside is Tropical Tourquoise.

I love the black w/red lettering valve covers. I wish I got those for my 5.0 but instead I got the black TFS ones. The only other valve covers I would consider is the aluminium fabricated look in a classic.

I wish I had gone black, my polished aluminum ones are only 2 years old and already starting to look like crap, especially after I pull the car out from hibernation in the spring.
