You guys have to remember, just like the stock block, the case will only hold so much power. If your staying in the 300hp range G force is good, If your planning on more power in the future, save for a t-56 or tko. If you just want it back on the road cheaply, Junkyard stocker, or stock rebuild.

Im thinking the case will hold more than 300hp

That sucks I am sorry to hear that I know how you feel.
After so long the T-5 transmissions just do that I agree.
Look around you could fined a T-5 transmission for a good price.
Good luck though.

the case is good for over 800hp

You have to be kidding right????? If they were able to hold that much power why wouldnt everyone just rebuild them with bulletproof internals??? There would be no need for the tko or t56 trannys, (ok maybe the t56) but you get the pic. I have a pic of a car at powertrain putting down 500whp 412tq with a built t5, that cracked the whole case all the way to the tranny mount.

cost
$2000 to get a t5 like that. 1500 if you do the building
