I am planning the redo of the engine compartment and engine in my 71 Mustang. Does anybody know if these two kits would work on a 71 as well? Bolts are for fenders and shock towers.

They really look cool, especially since I am going brushed alum and black anodized everywhere in the engine compartment. Thanks in advance.

should be the same as the earlier cars, though the number of parts might vary, the thread pitch and size of the bolts is the same.

DANG !!!! $88 for 12 decorative aluminum washers and 12 plated steel socket head cap screws?!

For that price I'd expect 316 Stainless Steel. Now that would be impressive.

FYI, keep an eye out for galvanic corrosion between the dissimilar metals.

I agree with you on both counts, I think I will just black anodize the stockers.
