So my blinkers quit working today, when I turn them on I hear a fast clicking noise and there are no lights blinking on and off in the dash. This happened on my 66 before and I changed the Blinker control module (think thats what its called).

Anyway, anyone know where it's located on a 97gt???

I don't know if this is the same but on my old 94 T-Bird that meant the bulb was burned out.

You need to fully synthetic blinker fluid.

I hear Royal Purple gives good performance but doesn't give enough protection for street use. At least that is what Amsoil has been publishing. Mobil 1 is always a favorite, through I wouldn't use 5w20 for our blinker fluid.

they made a switch from halogen gas filled blinkers to fluid type blinkers in 96 when they got rid of the 5.0

sounds like the blinker flasher relay. it is either under the dash or under the hood in the fuse block. your owners manual should list it.
