If the fox's directional switch is like the sn95's, you have a "multifunction switch" that controls high-low beams, wipers, hazzards, and directionals. If that's bad you could loose your directionals.

I knew mine was gone when my wipers wouldn't always run and if I tapped the stick with my fingers they would run once.

Yup.. we need more information. Did you do anything lately that caused them to stop working?

First check the wiring from the turn signal relay to the hazard switch, there's a purple/orange wire running up there.. make sure it's plugged in all the way. Then check the light blue wire from the turn signal relay to the multifunction switch. Make sure that's engaged with the connector all the way. I recently solved my signals not working by realizing that wire came out of the connector at the multifunction switch after I replaced the heater core.

Lastly, if you don't know if it's been replaced, or haven't replaced the ignition switch yet, it only costs about 20 bucks, and can also be the source of numerous electrical problems, although according to wiring diagrams, the turn signals don't run through there.

The turn signal knob itself as stated above also may be going bad. The little contacts in there get worn out over time. I recently found one on ebay brand new for 22 bucks.

But like I said, check the wiring first, the connectors, etc, before you buy anything.

I would guess then it's probably a loose wire. I'm assuming you've checked whichever fuse controls the turn signals? (I want to say it's position #5 but can't remember offhand.)

Well, I think I know where I would go back and look.

Behind the radio or anywhere else that you were while doing the install, you should find a wire or connection which needs massaging.

Good luck.

A few posts up, I posted the wire colors. Since you have a '91, your relay is probably behind the glove box somewhere, and it may have pulled loose. You just never know what might have pulled loose. Just check whatever wiring you can find. Grab a wiring diagram if needed.

I think the relay behind the box he's talking about is a short cylinder, about 1.5" in diameter and 1.5" tall.

I believe that blue box is your air bag diagnostic monitor.

The turn signal flasher will be small and cylindrical in shape. Light blue seems to be a common color.

Did you look at the wiring like we said you should earlier in the thread?

Check behind the hazard switch and make sure all your wires are properly engaged with the connector. Then remove the blinker knob itself, and check the wires going to it. My guess is one pulled out somewhere.
