bliss motors

Dave is Old School. He doesn't advertise, all his business is from word of mouth.
The last time I was done there he said the plan was to scale back to 3 days a week this year.

you find somethin wrong with your shortblock?

yup. I bought a DSS prolite bullet a few years ago, and after about 4k miles, I found that they suck. No fault of my own either. I talked to Eric, he used to be a salesman there, dunno if he works for them anymore or not. Anyways, I told him about what happened and he promised to take care of me, then he called my machinist (built motors for tom turner) and all of a sudden, they "didn't want to get into pissing contests" and I was on my own. Ah well, live and learn yeah?

sucks bro.. i had horrible luck with my dss shortblock too.

the chp shortblock in my fox lasted fine, new owner is still doing ok with it as far as i know. maybe consider them?

You can use Waterhouse in Tacoma. They have the most modern machines around. Many local shops send their stuff to Waterhouse anyway. My old sources dried up, so I had Waterhouse do the machine work for the block the 408 assembly went in. I was pleased with their work -but not always their pricing. They're a very big shop so they get things done pretty quickly too.

I'd have to supply everything though huh.
