block casting numbers?

I was given a stock short block from a 90 GT (i believe), does anyone know where I can find casting numbers to verify this? is there a difference in the H.O. and non-HO blocks? How can I tell if the crank inside is a HO crank or not? Basically anything you can tell me to find out what block I have would be awesome.

On the block in the front under the cam gear is stamped in black ink the Ford part number and the date manufactured.
