I've got it all torn down and loaded up. Block and rotating assembly on the way to the shop in the morning. I want to do a re-ring - new bearings. I'll let the shop pro check things out to see if my idea is doable. If not, I guess there will be another decision process to go through.

Everything came apart really easy. There was some wear patterns on bearing surfaces that I'm not sure how to read. If you look at the pics and have an opinion, I'd like to hear it. This engine had great oil pressure and no knocking whatsoever.

Not sure about the bearings. One of them is definetly showing copper. I think the rods will normally show more wearing towards the top and bottom. As far as the edges of the bearing bein worn, makes me wonder if the balacer was not working properly.

These are just guesses. I would love to hear what the machine shop says.

Good luck.
