How much power are you guys making with a stock 4 bolt alum block before the block becomes the weak link. Are you upgrading to the Iron block, like Sean Hyland offers?

Jim from VT engines just made 1400+ hp with an aluminum explorer block. you'll be alright. on a side not please dont buy anything from sean hyland. he's a crook

get the older blocks, I think its 95-98 which are the stronger ones.

69-74 are the strong 351W blocks, 75+ are all about the same, and the roller verisons are just like a 302 as far as strength
