btw, thats a cheaper shortblock assembly. It should use a zero internal balance kit and a roller cam (possably a solid roller),IMO.

...welll here is what im thinking now...either I go with the 460 super cobra jet (btw i read the block is good for at least 700 rwhp idk if thats right) and leave it stock...actaully what is another way to up the hp without a blower....and no naawwwzzz lol. Or basically stick to what I know and build my t76 power 347 stroker...I think I could definatly get 700+rwhp with the right set up...

...I was looking and then I saw the most beautiful thing in the word...the roush 402R crate engine.... 515hp/500ftlbs it is just sick...and that is only with 10:1 compression! Now...could I super or tubocharge that or is that 2 much compression. And if I did turbo it could it still run on pump gas heres a link if this doesnt work just to to the roush website and look at the crate engines..it is the 403R not ir http://www.roushparts.com/pdf/402R.pdf

Thats a pretty nice crate engine.

I think 10:1 might work with a turbo on pump gas.

I would go with a blow thou carb seen you feel more confortable with carberation. But also you can run more boost with a carb (well not more, but more with out detonation),because the lower pressure fuel is cooler.I think with a air to air intercooler that would be sweet.

...ok so your post got me looking and heres is what I came up with http://www.crateengine.net/460557.html

*I would do the 460/557ci
with eliminator block...(is that necessary or could i jut use the assembled short block)? Should I upgrade to a roller block?
Assembled Short Block
$3899
With Eliminator Block
$5299
*Crankshaft: SCAT 9000 Series Cast Steel Crank with 4.500" Stroke,
Knife-Edged, Micro-Polished, Internally Balanced for Maximum Horsepower.
*Connecting Rods: 4340 Forged Steel H-Beam Rods 6.800" Long Profiled,
ARP Cap Screws, Precision Sized & Balanced.
*Bearings: Clevite H-Series Performance Race Bearings,
Durabond Cam Bearings
* Pistons: SRP/JE, Probe, Wiseco, Venolia Forged Pistons can be used with
Turbo, Nitrous, and Supercharged Engines. Compression ratio of your choice.
Piston Rings: Speed-Pro/JE Plasma Moly Piston Rings - 1/16 x 1/16 x 3/16.

*Roller Bearing Block Upgrade Available ...Add $350
*Custom Schneider Hardened Steel Billet Roller Cam Dyno-Designed for Stroker
Applications.
*melling HV oil pump
*heres the choice of heads I went with the cobra jets...are blkue thunders realy that good? Head Kits - Include
Fel-Pro Performance Head Gaskets
ARP Head Stud Kit
Aluminum Roller Rockers
Chrome Moly 3/8 Diameter Pushrods
Hydraulic or Solid Lifters (Schneider Roller Lifters available for an addt'l $299)

With your Choice of:
(A) Ford Motorsports "Cobra Jet" Aluminum 72cc Iron Heads w/ 2.200" Intake,
1.760" Exhaust diameter.
Add... $2995
Click here for more information on Ford "Cobra Jet" Heads

(B) Custom Blue Thunder Heads w/ 2.25" Intake, and 1.76" Exhaust (these heads must be ported)

Click here for more information on Blue Thunder Heads (all stages)

(C) Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads. 2.19 Intake and 1.76 Exhaust

*Fits any stroke to 4.500. More stroke may require slight grinding depending on rods Intended for use in high horsepower and competition applications. "Track Dominator" main girdles are manufactured of 1/2" thick billet steel. They are CNC machined for an accurate fit with a minimum of interference. Probe industries "Track Dominator" Main Girdles utilize a press fit standoff to provide clearance at the main cap and do not require machining or align boring. Belt sanding of the main cap may be required. Probe "Track Dominator" Main Girdles are designed to clear all stroker applications.

...what kind of hp am I looking at here? Will I reach 700+hp? Also... will this run on pump gas? I can choose whatever cr I want...(what should I choose lol)

I decided to go with the shortblock...It will save me some big $$$ and tehe other block is 8,552

Around 11:1 that motor would run on pump, and with the eddy or the blue thunder heads (yea, the BT heads are awsome),it would make 700fwhp.
