How long would you guys estimate a blower would take to be installed? I dropped my Vortech off on Wednesday at 5:45 (they close at 6:00) so they've had almost 2 days to work on it.. should I call tomorrow or is this too soon? Sorry I don't know if this should be in talk, but it's a semi-tech question. Thanks guys.

Just the install? About 5 hours. Install and tune? Add a couple hours. Two days is more than enough provided they had a complete kit and a space on the dyno to tune it.

Should not take more than 2 days. I'd call the shop.

I'm sure the shop has more than 1 customer. They probably aren't going to do nothing but work on his until it's done. So, a few hrs per day for his job should make it 3-5 days tops.

I was thinking that a KB Blower should take 8 hours at the most (intercooled) and around 4-5 hours for the non-intercooled kit, maybe less time than that. Shouldnt the non-intercooled kit pretty much be the same as a manifold swap, plus installing the boost-a-pump and whatever other little things are involved. As for a centri type blower Im thinking 6-8 hours for the install, but Im just going by what most people say it took them to do the job.

KB is like an intake swap the way I see it which took me only ~4 hours total time to put my new intake on (old one craked) and I had no idea what I was doing lol. Putting on my Novi, the intercooler, injectors, all the piping, radiator mods, 03 Cobra fuel tank / pumps took me 10-13 hours total time spent over a Fri night Saturday, and Sunday, and again I had no idea what I was doing. I'm sure a mechanic(s) could do it much faster but they probably have a bunch of other stuff going on too. I only had my oil pan tapped for the blower oil return line before I started by a shop. It's just brackets, and pipes -
