99-04 stangs both. which one do you guys think would win. One has Vortech with stock pulley and the normal bolt ons. Other has gears and a 100 shot.

What PSi is the Charged application?

Even at 6 psi I would say that would best the 100 shot GT.

SCed car is my vote...if its set up right.

stock pulley should make atleast 8psi, even on a mildly modded car. the nitrous car will make more torque, but the supercharged car should make more horsepower. if the tune is good on the supercharged car, i'd go with the supercharged car.

well... maybe a little modified but ive got a buddy still running his stock motor with a vortech into the mid 11s... main thing is the built rear end and being able to launch that thing HARD

yes.

depending on supporting mods, a stock pullied SQ trim can make 360-400rwhp.

yea its 360/360 ish vs 330/400+ .

From a rollon the spray car will jump then the S/C will real it in. I would think it would be VERY close at the track...given equal drivers and tires ofcourse. I would give the 100 shot a little more of an advantage at the strip though. With the gears + N20....that car will be yanking hard. The blower car with 3.27s would be more of a highway runner and wouldnt 60' very well.

i do not belive a stock pullyed S/C will beat a 100shot with gears the simple fact the the nitrous car will need less power to win cuz of the gears that bcuz it will make the power instently unlike the other wich wont reach full boost till high rpm. the S/C car will make more power but in the street it will be a wining race for the 100shot

So basically the nitrous car from a dig and higher end speed the blown car. What if the blown had 3.73s also.

from a dig nitrous is not the best bet bcuz what ever rpm your in when you hit the button tho's 100 ponys are coming out but from a 2nd gear roll ill give it to the 100 shot. and higher end speed is worth nothing its how fast the car acselerates between each gear not how fast you can go in one gear.now the blown GT if it had gears, well now we talking... it will build power faster but it will still have to build boost. i belive even if the blown GT makes 40-50 more HP then the other the nitrous car will still beat him. im pritty shore cuz its happend to me befor

bench racing......

but given the 2 cars are at the same power level(hp), drivers are equal, and they both hook, the nitrous powered car will always win. More torque.

Not for sure, but I think the pulley that comes with the kits are 3.6". The 3.3 pulley, I think, will roughly push the boost upwards of 12 psi or so.

Either way, there are too many variables to truly say which car would win. Intercooled vs. non-intercooled. Wet kit vs. dry kit, and so on. But as Winters98GT said above, the n2o car will typically have more torque.

What was your 60' ans what tires were you running?

I went 12.85 @ 109 with a 2.1 60'. That was with a exhaust, gears and Vortech w/ stock pulley through an auto with shi**y Nitto DRs.

Thats a great ET for the MPH.

depends on the race. when i sprayed a 100 shot on street tires my 60' was a 2.2 and was running 8.4s at 86mph. if i had the drag radials on the car then it would have went 8.1s at 86mph.

nitrous dies on the top end but an 86mph trap is good for about 109 1/4 mile.
