Ok so the other night me and my brother was on our way to my house. I passed my rd turned into a driveway to turn around and my car stalled, then died, started and it was idling funny didn't want to run at all but managed to get it home. It was making a loud noise like a vacuum leak, or something. Next day I find the noise it was a leak in this hose if you can see in this pic the black hose right under the blue colored hose was off causing it to idle up and down. What is this btw?? Its driver side of engine by firewall and engine at the top right corner area. Well I got the hose on and noticed there was like a faint howling noise soon as I started car and sometimes just as it was idling. There was always still a hiss noise from same area where the hose popped off at, but couldn't find it til today. In the same area of the engine there is like a lil knob looking thing, sorry don't know what it is really called, but its where that hose connects to the engine. There is a tiny hole sucking air. Its not in the hose just the part the hose connects to at engines corner.. Also this hole time there has been smoke seemingly coming from under the engine on driver side where the headers connect to the exhaust. it is white, very little, but very visible. Cant describe smell. Kinda like a hot hose I reckon.. There is no smoke coming from tail pipes. If yall remember me months ago worrying about a broken dip stick, well I guess there was cause since all this happened I cant put my oil stick back in, like there was pressure that pushed the broke stick up blockin the dipstick, so I cant get it back in to check the oil to tell if there is anything in the oil. Anyway I was letting car idle today for about 20 mins then it bogged down and died, started it and it died then wont start back. Also the howling was coming and going more. not sure where it was coming from. want to say the belt, but not sure at all. Engine idled ruff then it died. Put gas in just in case and nothing. It turns over but no start. Also the day this happen, but before it happened I noticed my fan would not blow air thru vents but will in defrost mode. My ac has been out but always blew air on high..

Also noticed this after all this happened in the pic below can anyone tell what it is? Its coming from passenger side firewall. Looks like it broke off somehing, but cant find where from, or if this is related

Sorry I know its a lot, but your input is appreciated
Thanks in advance

The bottom line is the vacuum hose that goes to the vacuum tree on the driver's side. It's the hose that controls your HVAC. It has become disconnected, that is why your AC only blows on defrost. The hose on the back of the engine with the nipple is the PCV valve. There should be a hose going up to your intake from that. I can't see any reason why you would have a blown head gasket. Check for water in the oil, and do a compression test.

I pulled the elbow shaped hose with what I think is the pcv. Small plastic piece with a ball inside?? How do I know if its bad? If I blow thru the plastic it flows free if i blow from other end the ball clogs it

Used to be a lot more feedback around here anyway the hole I was speaking of where the hose connects at the corner ( threaded piece with steam) what could cause it to bust if it sucks air? cant seem to unscrew it .. want to replace it but dont know whats its called and cant get it off

If you have a 94-95 gt it's time to replace all the vacuum lines. When they get old they become hard, or flaky and brittle and are prone to breaking and getting holes in them from the slightest touch. On the driver side of the engine you have 3 connection points under the intake for vacuum lines, one is for a small line in the front area and 2 in the rear area. In the rear of the pleuum the line that connect to the PVC valve hooks into a T connector and one short line connects to point under the pleuum and the other connects to the pleuum area that over the valve cover. You have vacuum lines connected to the power brake booster and you have vacuum lines going to an area inside the right fender these lines should also be replaced. To get to the vacuum lines inside the right fender you have to remover the right tire and inner plastic fender liner (if you break and of the plastic slide clips you can get new ones at the self help section at your local auto parts store). You have 3 vacuum lines by the area rear of the throttle body one goes to the fuel pressure regulator and and there are 2 by the EGR valve. You also have vacuum line in the area under the air intake plumbing that is part of the air pump system. .

I replaced the PCV. Still got smoke and dont know why and where the PCV hose hooks around the front top of valve cover the metal part has a hole, so I guess Im getting back pressure which caused all this. Smoke is rings, or, gasket, exhaust, or cracked head. Gonna take to shop I guess.. And I connected that one hose back it made my vents blow again
