Has anyone installed a SC or turbo that's intercooled in a 65. I would love to see some PICS. I've seen a small 2 core one stuffed behind the horse but I am wondering if the larger 3 core from my 88 would fit somehow. Might fit behind front 65 shelby valence with the opening

its gonna be a lot of cutting, mainly to the gravel guard and valance as well as ditching the hood latch and support for hood pins

If I wasn't stupid and knew how to post a pic into a reply, I have pics of a 66 fastback with a paxton belt driven supercharger (looks kinda like a large alternator) piped to the carb which is inside an airtight box. The owner said that it took his 345hp Ford Racing Crate motor and made it into a firebreather. He also said they, (paxton), sold him the entire setup - sc, airpipe? and carb. box.). It looks pretty clean and from what he said, it woke up an already decent motor. BTW, it sets on the same side (in place of) the a/c compressor and he told me that he didn't have to alter the body of the car at all.

I have considered blow-thru carb but my friend has almost talked me out of it. Since nobody makes an IC kit I'd have a fairly unigue design but the intercooler is pretty big. Car isn't anything like original so doing some cutting wouldn't bother me as long as it didn't look like a hack. I want to keep the stock appearance(has GT foglights). The paxton isn't an intercooler if IRC, airbox for the carb. Winter is almost here and the cars will be parked so I'll have time to tinker. If it happens I'll post some PICS but figured that there must be some out there.

We're working with Paxton on this as we speak for the carb system. We plan on flipping the hat 180 degrees and running the cooler box directly in front of the box. Still some issues to work out but that's current the plans...

While not intercooled, here is a pic of my blow thru set up the day I got it running. I spent some time modding the carb but I have seen no issues as of yet.
