Blue smoke.

Ok lately the stang has been blowing out blue smoke when I get on it. I am guessing its time for a ring job right? What is the best way with doing this. Should I just get a new block, put in diffrent rings, or what?

It could be your valve seals too. How k's sorry miles are on the motor?

Just change the oil thinking it might help but didnt.

P.S. The engine got rebuilt befor I bought it. They put on new heads and did the top of the motor but did nothing to the bottom end.

Maybe check your PCV valve it might be plugged

Has it always been doing this, or is it just recently. especially with larger aftermarket heads there is a certain amount of oil blow by past the valves. And seeing as it only happens when you get on it...that could be it...i dont know how bad it is. How much oil are you using?
