if thats the case id have to really look at how its set up. before i take judgement on it. but in the end im sure id still take a "stock" suspension over any of them. companys like racecraft and team Z have really pushed the idea of this "stock" suspension stuff to really make it work like you wouldnt believe. the amount of mounting points they have these days is crazy.

Oh there's no denying that there's more than one way to skin a cat. I've been looking REALLY hard at this MM torque arm though. It's been said that it completely changes how a Fox acts in the twisties (in a good way). The upper control arms go buh-bai, and a panhard bar is installed. Axle loading is transferred to the front of the car. I'd REALLY like to drive one and see how it acts first hand for a plain ole Noob who likes going out an turning M-Series owners into criers.

Two reasons:

I was never a fan of an IRS that was specifically designed to fit into the space where a 4 link belongs (always thought that was a back-asswards way to do something).

I am not a suspension guru that could give that setup the love and attention and tuning that it requires to work the best that it can.

Don't get me wrong though... that thought lingers in the back of my mind all the time. I'd probably love that setup if done correctly.

I'll give you another reason why an IRS in a fox sucks: tire size. You're pretty much limited to a 255-275 series tire at best. Some have squeezed larger, but it's a real pain.

And that's coming from someone that is putting an IRS in their fox . I'm mainly doing it for the nicer ride and handling.

A TA setup reduces the inherent binding that occurs with a traditional 4 link setup. Increases handling while actually decreasing NVH. I've always been a fan of them and almost pulled the trigger on one before ultimately deciding on the IRS.

trim looks great!! i never stop cleaning and polishing too lol BTW i see a bottle of Meguiars Ultimate detailer in your pic I think Meguiars should send me a couple free bottles of my favorite spray wax Meguiars Ultimate spray wax over the last 6 years i think i buy a new bottle every month! my car loves that sheot!

all this talk of polishing and cleaning there cars is making me sad... ive had my fox 4 years now... ive never waxed it i havent washed it in 2 years. not out of lazyness just havent had the time to sit down wash it and buff it. i have everything to do it just not enough free time. to much time spent fixing it. that and i noticed i have a paint bubble under my wing on the hatch. trying to figure out what to do with that. chip off all the flaking paint and use touch up?

It is brand new and has only seen the sun like a dozen times, no paint needed.

But now the quarter windows are out and the door frames will be getting redone this weekend.
So I am going to redo it all so it is all the same

Well of course mine does! I drive an 86 from when they still made all the pieces and parts out of metal!

lol you are correct but i have the pita to install Mavromont kit in mine which strengthens with metal and makes it just as strong as the oem 86 vintage ashtray door
