Hey guys! I have a question I'm hoping u can help me with...so my son's sn95 has a saleen body kit that is coming off. What is the best adhesive to put it back on? 3m super doubleback tape, spray adhesive, black weatherstripping, etc...??? Thanks
3m super weatherstrip adhesive has never failed me. The tape is also great, but it ends up being thicker so depending on the trim it might leave gaps around it. The adhesive comes in black or yellow.
I have used super glue with some success. Be sure to clean and dry the area as best you can before applying any type of adhesive. Try using rubbing alcohol or acetone on a painted area that usually isn't seen, like under the trunk matting to see what effect it has on the paint. Acetone is a strong solvent, so you definitely need to test it first.
