Ok guys and gals , this is at the bottom left corner of my passenger door. Caused by sunroof leaks over the years
Is it repairable and what would be the best course of action.
It is not really in a spot I could get a metal plate behind it.

You need another door.
I suspect more rust issues
Vert and T top doors are basically the same depending on what mirror you have, 'bat wing' or standard mirror.
The door glass is T top specific.

That's what I was afraid of. I have a sunroof model so I will have to be on the lookout. If I have a 79 hatch, what range of years can I match to? up to 82, 83?

I spent two years looking for a pass window for my 83 vert.. Be really careful with yours.....

I got T top windows and doors.
I think 79-86 doors are the same, not sure though, I know front fenders have different trim after 87.

Is it repairable??? Yes. Is it worth it? NO. Just get another good door and replace it.

That said, I agree with others that there is almost certainly more rust hiding and will need to be addressed.
