Bolt torque for balancer and 4 bolts on pulley

How tight should these be tightened to?

I think I remember torquing the balancer to 120ft/lbs and the pulley doesn't really matter as long as you get them tight....It's always good to use some medium threadlock.

What is this medium thread lock? I thought there was blue or red.

My torque specs say 100 for the balancer... Correct me if im wrong... And yes the 4 bolts just get em tight but not too tight. Red is medium i believe

No red is definately not medium.

Where can I get the longer bolts for the pully? Ones with the flange/lip around the bolt head. I went to O'Reilly's but they just have regular bolts.

Definitely don't use red thread locker...That stuff is like JB Weld. The blue is medium and I believe they have light duty which is like purple or black or something. Any bolts will do as long as they don't bottom out on the waterpump.

Red's the best. I use that stuff all over the place. That stuff is Jesus in a tube if you have a big cam motor that vibrates a lot.

How do you go about getting the red stuff loose if need to? Heat? I was told the red was perm.

How exactly could the bolts bottom out on the water pump when its not behind the balancer? Provided this is a 5.0/5.8

My preferred loostening tool is an Ingersol Rand 241 Impact. Red isn't permanent, a lot of the stock bolts are held on with red, ex the driveshaft bolts.
