I'm planning on installing my ProCharger this weekend and just remembered that I still haven't ordered/installed boost/vacuum and air/fuel gauges in the car. Will this be a big problem? Will I want to have these gauges as soon as I install the system?
Should not be a problem, you can install the gauges after the SC. I installed paxtons novi 2200 w/intercooler a few weeks ago and am going to install boost/watertemp/oil temp and a mechanical fuel pressure gauge this weekend. Gauges are not needed but highly recommended. Good luck on your install.
I agree with the previous guy, there is no real need to have your gauges right away, other than to trouble shoot your blower if need be. You can order from JEGs and have the gauges by Fri.
As far as gauges go I owuld say that Fuel Pressure and boost are certainly needed to keep an eye on the critical elements. If you want a third then I would go with Oil Pressure. I, once again I, feel that air/fuel is over rated and not needed.

PS I just installed a Mechanical Water Temp gauge on my Mystic (since the stock one was broken) and it was a bit of a pain. Take your time and be ready to make a couple of trips to the performance shop for parts.
