The boost bypass can be turned off in the tune if you really feel you need to. If the car is not "bogging" between shifts when you are hammering it then don't worry about it. The boost bypass is a safety feature... There's no extra power to be had by disabling it.
u.m you think i would be better off with the 2.93 pulley .cause this will be my vaction car too. like 3000 mile plus trips on highway? instead of the 2.76 pulley. or is it that big of diff. between those 2 sizes?
