i am getting my engine my rebuilt tomorrow.....i will have full exhaust and typhoon upper/lower intake manifolds...so i assume another 40hp from those two? so 265 flywheel, maybe? prolly a little lower....so anyways i was wondering how much boost is to much? (what can the stock heads handle? what about air flow with stock heads?) I would like to run upwards of 10+ PSI, i am getting the heads bolted down with ARP bolts cause my mechanic (also a 5.0 owner) said to do that if im running lots of boost...can i run 15 psi? i'm looking for around 350-400RWHP.....9 psi will give me roughly half....so thats 390 flywheel hp....so another 6, should be around 350rwhp? and by the way i know i will need new injectors, fuel pump, blah blah, is this achievable on a stock bottom end? oh yeah and i am doing other stuff to suspension and chasis and stuff to be able to actually have grip on the streets and not mess anything else up...thx for your input, anyone would help.....i guess my main problem is i dont know if the boost will be limited by the flow of the heads or whether it even matters if i can get fuel in there too. thanks for all your help guys!
