Boost Retard?

Still trying to figure out everything I need for my ATI setup, the guys I'm buying the kit from said I won't need a boost retard because it's intercooled, but some people said I may need it anyway. I will be running it a 11psi, hopefully with a good tune, Any input is appreciated, thanks

if your going to have it dyno tuned, or tuned yourself with a pms or something similar, you dont need a boost retard. the tuner will be able to program timing retard into the chip for you

Yep, if it's being tuned you won't need a boost retard. However, you won't be able to mash the go pedal until it's tuned.
