Hi guys,

Finally got my boosted mustang running decently but now I have a lean condition at partial throttle. I had it in at the shop and they had a brief look but they think it might be dirty O2 sensors. They checked grounds and vacuum leaks. Problem seemed to start up once I changed my msd box and wires. Everything’s hooked up correctly but at idle I run pretty lean according to my wideband and lean at slight throttle. Once I’m into it it’s fine but has that hesitation at slight throttle . I checked my fuel pressure gauge and that’s good but I’m thinking it must be those O2 sensors or maybe plugs ?

What do you guys think?

Innovative wideband brand new...hits 20s at partial throttle and idle sometimes. I can hear it popping.

Ignition is msd billet distributor, msd blaster coil and brand new msd 6al2 box.

Also shop checked for vacuum leaks but found none.

Check and make sure the wires are in the right order... no crossed wires. Check the timing. Look down under the metal pieced the rotor button sits on. Maker sure the pick up isnt list our corroded.

Update -

I did the ignition upgrades after the tune ( MSD 6al2, MSD coil and new wires ).

I believe it needs to be retuned and more fuel added down low...tuner also agrees.
