I spent yesterday morning intstalling my new Borla Catback. Getting those rubber exhaust hangers off the stock catback is a bitch. Once I put the new borla on I had trouble hanging them on the hanger which is closer to the front of the car. The rear hangers I was able to do fine, but the front-most hanger I had to tear off with garden clippers and buy two new ones. I'm wondering if I just need to stretch the hell out of the new rubber ones? I drove my car and their is a slight rattle on the passenger side exhaust, i'm assuming because it's not hanging. Does anybody know of any tricks to get it stretched so I can hang it? What order should I go about re-installing it? Thanks

what do you mean stretch it? you can't get the metal pins into the rubber hangers? or it's to stiff to hang right? If it's the first one, i would just lube the crap out of it and hammer them in.

as far as rattling, get someone else to help you hold the muffler while you tighten them. it's a lot easier with two people.
