I have a dilemma here. There is crap rattling in my mufflers right now and is very very annoying whenever I drive. My Mustang is a daily driver and is becoming embarressing to drive (it buzzes and rattles). I ordered a Borla exhaust for it but it will be another two to three weeks before I can get it. Is it really worth it to wait two/three more weeks for a Borla exhaust or should I get a Magnaflow? Or something else? I have read the reviews and everyone praises their Magnaflow exhaust. The Magnaflow would be about half the price too, but I think you get what you pay for. Can anyone help me out?

Around here it takes something other then Flowmaster to be different. I would go with the Borla. I've always liked the sound, just couldn't afford the price.

Ive got the Borla Stinger cat back and I love it. The car has a really low deep tone now (I used to have 2 chamber flows and a pro chamber) The car is actually deeper and louder now than it was with my old combo.

just a thought.... for the rattle are you 100% sure it's the mufflers? i just tracked down an evil rattle, and it turned out my o2 sensor was loose and rattling on the X-Pipe. I took my exhaust off (catback, and half my x pipe before i noticed it, it pissed me off lol)

yeah, I went to a performance shop and they put it up on the lift with someone in it. Thye hit the gas a little and we were able to pinpoint the rattle was coming from within the muffler from underneath the car. At first I thought it was the heat shield....

performancepeddler on ebay sells for Borla for $450. I bought from him and recieved it within a week. Sounds great, fit and finish is great. I installed it myself in my garage with jack and stands in a touch over an hour. I would recommend it.

Borla's rule. They sound great.A deep bass tone,Quiet at idle.Bark at WOT. The dual tips fit the rear perfectly.I'd buy them again.

I dont get it either

I have Borla on my car and have loved them at every stage of my exhaust, they just keep getting better Stock i had just the catback, it sounded pretty good. Then i added LT headers and an O/R H (both are BBK) and it sounded amazing. Now that i have new heads and cams with a lope...

I have heard my friends exhaust with LT headers, O/R H (again, both BBK) and a Magnapacks system, sounded almost identical to mine except a little more poppiness

Do you get an interior "buzz" from your Stingers? I get a noise at mid RPM's from the right rear - can't tell if it's from the trunk or from somewhere under the plastic (right side arm rest area) cover at the rear seat.

I don't have the stingers, but I do have a Saleen/Borla catback and I love it! The car has a great sound at WOT, yet it is tolerable while driving normal.
