Ive seen two newer "BOSS" Mustangs around town.... what's the deal with these? I mean I know of Saleen and those but I didn't know BOSS was still working on Stangs... are these really available or are they just decal packages people are buying? If they are real, what are the specs, differences etc?

I think they're just decal packages.

a company called Boss Shinoda does them...i dont think there are any engine mods that gain you HP or anything, i think its just an appearance package or something..

Do a search for it. There was a huge investigation about a month ago regarding a Boss Mustang on Stangnet. It has a lot of information about the sticker package and some dealership claiming that one of the GT's they were selling was a real Boss.

Well, I have one. lol yeah, it's just a decal package, but I have enough mods to hold it's name somewhat.

It's ricer graphics. It isn't even a real BOSS. Like someone said, it's some ripooff garbage mom%pop company just selling trash

Its sold by the man who created the Boss Mustang in the 60's. Shinoda is responsible for the Boss. It looks ok when someone has something under the hood to back the decals up with.

Thanks, at least someones on my side. I'll probably do away with the hood and windshield decals, when I replace them. I'll probably leave the side ones.

I still like em somewhat, maybe a little extensive. I think they look better on a white Stang though

i saw a 03/04 Boss 2 weeks ago on the freeway. it had a bodykit and some graphics, but it wasn't fast but it looked decent because it was dark shadow gray.

Bottom line is that the BOSS is garbage. Just another way rice is spreading over to stangs

the "Boss" Mustang is NOT a Ford sanctioned vehicle like Saleen, Roush, or Steeda.

the "Boss" is nothing more than a sticker package. if you want to be a "certified Boss" you need to put a couple of bolt-ons on the car as well.

Boss = teh loss.

im getting BOSS 281 on my license plate but no decals here , trying to keep it sleeper except the tag LOL , just took of the fender GT emblems and swapped them for some pony emblems off a V6
