Can you build a 302, with todays modern heads like AFR 205's that you could rev to like 7,000 rpm and have it cammed for power up there and geared low 4.56's with a four speed.
Put it in a four cylinder hatch and have a trans am style car in a fox body.

No Problem at all...

Look at NMRA Pure Street or FFW Street Warrior, rpm range upper 7000, mid 8000rpm. Most cars are 308ci...

Light internals, light valvetrain and proper parts can get you over 430RWHP.

7000 isn't all that much. I though you were going to ask if it can spin to 10,000 or something like that. But ya you can get a 302 to spin to 7k+
